Around the UK, you get this round blue plaques on walls to celebrate where certain famous people lived/slept/had sex/vomited. They can get quite ubiquitous and big names can be assured of multiple plaques.

While these are meant to be “official” plaques, a number of people have created their own. Michael Palin placed numerous plaques along the lines of “Monty Python Gas Man Sketch Filmed Here.”

One such fake plaque near my workplace comes and goes, possibly on legal advice.

It reads “Tom Baker Bulls#!*ter Lived Here.”

I just received some spam for a book called How To Survive Terrorism. It’s tagline? “You’ll Never Need To Read Another Book Again.” Ah, survive terrorism through illiteracy and only watching TV, fantastic. Among other things it promises “How to travel outside the U.S. safely.”

Another great eBay listing here. From someone purporting to sell the Fantastic Four toy figures. As they say,
