The first teaser for Daredevil: Born Again was shown at D23 with some interesting surprises and confirmations. If you’re worried that the show was going to be more family friendly than its Netflix origins, you’d be wrong. This seems even more intense with a lot of great looking action. The cast, including Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio and Jon Bernthal were on hand to show off the new footage, but the confirmations were the appearance of White Tiger as another hero and Muse as the villain. It looks as if Daredevil and Kingpin will have to team up to deal with an even bigger threat and somehow, Yosuf Khan (Mohan Kapur), the father of Kamala Khan, gets involved. The footage was not officially released, but it has been leaked on-line. Season two will begin shooting soon and season one has been confirmed to start on Disney+ on March 1st, 2025.

The opening story arc of the series is primarily focused on the "core four" of DuckTales and set in Duckburg, as they uncover the town's secrets - and secret treasures. Montclare's formatting of the stories will also intersperse flashback looks at some of Scrooge's past adventures across mysterious islands and other exotic locations, alongside allies and enemies like Launchpad, Glomgold, Webby, Gyro Gearloose, Magica De Spell, the Beagle Boys, and many more.


Montclare's ambitious story is matched by the vibrant artwork of Tommaso Ronda. Disney's comics and particularly those starring the ducks are known for featuring work by diverse creators from across the world. Ronda hails from Italy, a country with a deep roster of acclaimed Disney artists and continuing his own portfolio of drawing these characters. The creative team is rounded out by letterer Fabio Amelia. While editor Nathan Cosby keeps the ducks in order.

DuckTales #1 releases November 6, 2024 to treat fans with a special present ahead of the holiday season. It will feature a range of gorgeous covers from the likes of Ivan Bigarella, Francesco Tomaselli, Carlo Cid Lauro, and Alan Quah. Additionally, a classic piece of artwork from the Disney vaults is presented as a special variant cover.

The denizens of Duckburg's all-new adventures will primarily follow in the footsteps of the brilliant original DuckTales show that ran from 1987-1990 and imprinted on a generation of children across the world, and the next ones through reruns and reboots. Time Bandits‘ latest adventure has come to an end. Apple TV+ has opted not to renew the series adaptation of Terry Gilliam’s cult classic film for a second season. The news comes almost a month after the 10-episode first season of the fantasy series starring Lisa Kudrow ended its run, released in batches of two episodes weekly. The development is not entirely surprising. Despite the nostalgia factor and mostly favorable reviews (78% on Rotten Tomatoes), Time Bandits, created by Jemaine Clement, Iain Morris and Taika Waititi, did not attract large enough audience and was not able to crack Nielsen’s Top 10 streaming rankings. The cancellation ends a long journey that started more than six years ago when Apple TV+ acquired the rights to the beloved 1981 movie for a series adaptation produced by the now-defunct Paramount Television Studios, Anonymous Content’s AC Studios and MRC. In an interview with Collider to promote the upcoming HBO series The Penguin, The Batman director Matt Reeves shed some light on the progress of Season 2 of Batman: Caped Crusader and hinted at when fans can expect to see the next installment. When asked where they were in the process of the anticipated second season, executive producer Reeves explained that work is well underway. For those unaware, Caped Crusader is an animated noir-inspired take on the Batman story to air on Amazon's Prime Video, featuring a young Bruce Wayne taking on the mantle of the Dark Knight, drawing inspiration from the Batman stories published in the 1940s and '50s. But what about the timeline? Reeves said that while there are no concrete dates as yet for Season 2's arrival, 2025 does seem likely.

Global animation producer Superprod Animation and its Milan-based company Red Monk Studio have launched production on their new CG-animated series “Underdog,” a reimagining of the classic 1959 cartoon franchise. The series was commissioned by M6 and Gulli in France and RAI in Italy. This new version of “Underdog” will feel familiar to fans of the 1960s original that endured in syndication for decades across networks including NBC, CBS and Nickelodeon. Superprod and Red Monk will produce 52 11-minute episodes of the new series, which will be aimed at kids and family audiences and follow the crimefighting antics of Underdog, a clumsy but well-meaning superhero in an oversized suit and cape.
