A Bowen Designs Sculpt! Irish Interpol agent Sean Cassidy developed an unusual mutant power - the ability to create a "sonic scream" that could overwhelm a person's auditory system, causing disorientation or unconsciousness. With refinement, Cassidy was able to channel his sonic powers into concussive blasts, sonic lances, and even flight. He came to the attention of Professor X, and taking the codename Banshee, after the Celtic spirit, he partnered on occasion with the X-Men and served as a mentor to Generation X. Sculpted by Jason Smith, the Banshee statue stands an impressive 16" tall, replicating this powerful mutant in his most famous costume.
