Collectibles Inspired by the Most Popular Holiday TV Special in History
Hit Shelves This Christmas

Runnemede, NJ — September 9th, 2004 — Dynamic Forces, Inc. announced today that it will create collectible merchandise based on the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer? property.

Dynamic Forces will produce trading cards, fine art giclees, paper and acetate lithographs, and laser prints based on Rudolph and the TV special’s entire cast of memorable characters. The merchandise will begin to hit retail shelves timed to coincide with the special’s 40th anniversary this holiday season.

The deal was brokered by GT Merchandising & Licensing who manages the licensing and merchandising rights for the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer brand along with Classic Media, Inc.

“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is as traditional as Christmas itself!” said Nick Barrucci, President of Dynamic Forces. “Like the rest of the country, every holiday season I wait in eager anticipation for Rudolph to hit the airwaves! It’s just not Christmas without this special. This year marks the 40th anniversary, and we’re releasing the premiere set of Rudolph Trading Cards! We have our first items planned for the end of this year, with more Rudolph to come next year—and beyond!”

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is the longest-running and highest-rated holiday special in television history. Since 1964, more than one hundred million families have tuned into to watch the annual CBS broadcast.

Burl Ives stars as Sam the Snowman, narrating and singing the story of a rejected reindeer who overcomes prejudice to save Christmas one particularly blustery year. Along the way, he meets a dentally obsessed elf named Hermey, the affable miner Yukon Cornelius and his motley crew of puppies, the scary and adorable Abominable Snow Monster, a legion of abandoned toys (the lovable Island of Misfit Toys), and a sometimes grouchy Santa!
