Marvel Zombies Cover Painter, Arthur Suydam featured on April 4th CNI Podcast April 3rd, 2007, Runnemede, NJ - Dynamic Forces, the comic book and collectible industry's top producer of limited edition and autographed memorabilia, announced today that their continued sponsorship of the Comic News Insider, a weekly podcast spotlighting comic book and pop culture news, will feature the master of Marvel Zombies cover art, painter Arthur Suydam! The highlight of CNI Episode 83 (available at www.dynamicforces.com on April 4, 2007) will feature painter Arthur Suydam, who chats with CNI hosts, Jimmy and Joe, and reveals the secrets of making the "zombiefied" classic Marvel covers of Marvel Zombies and gruesome renditions of pop culture images for Dynamite's Raise the Dead. Fans of both Marvel Zombies and Army of Darkness should be sure to listen, for there is no telling what undead secrets Arthur will reveal about the crossover event of 2007-- Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness. Painter Arthur Suydam has earned super-star status in the comic book industry with his "zombified" versions of classic Marvel covers, which are credited in large to the Marvel Zombie phenomenon. In the past, Arthur has contributed his amazing painting skills to many publications, including Heavy Metal, House of Secrets and Epic Illustrated; and more recently he has provided the painted covers for Hellstorm and current issues of Ghost Rider. Arthur's latest additions to his "zombified" art gallery come as he revives some classic pop culture images for a series of covers to Dynamite's new zombie series Raise the Dead. The "zombified" cover images for Raise the Dead pay a "resurrected" homage to the art of Norman Rockwell, Andy Warhol and others. Upcoming projects for Arthur include painted covers for Marvel Zombies: Dead Days from Marvel and the new Savage Tales series from Dynamite. CNI Episode 83 will also feature reviews of the week's TV shows, DVD releases, movies and comics books.
