DYNAMIC FORCES PROUDLY PRESENTS THE DAREDEVIL: DEATH OF
ELEKTRA STATUE |
There are
few stories in comic book history that are as pivotal and moving
as the death of Elektra. After a turbulent life, Matt Murdock
(a.k.a. Daredevil's) love was killed at the hands of Bullseye.
Through the words and art of Frank Miller, the emotional impact
moved many readers to tears, as did Matt's fruitless search
for her, convinced she was alive. His harrowing journey only
led him to her grave.
Working
on designs by Greg Horn, sculptor Martin Canale has captured
the heart-wrenching final moment of the storyline, showing
Matt at Elektra's gravesite, a portrait of misery. Presented
as a diorama, the statue shows Matt hunched over in despair,
as Elektra's spirit ascends to the next world.
Measuring
11" wide and standing almost 10" tall, the Daredevil:
Death of Elektra statue is the first of this collectible series
of "diorama" statues from Dynamic Forces and with
a strict limitation of 1,982 units, is destined for otherworldly
greatness, as well as a fast sell out.
The Daredevil:
Death of Elektra statue retails for $189.99, and is scheduled
to ship to comic and specialty shops in September. Fans should
