and Top Cow Productions today announced that the demand for
new collections of previously exclusive DF Comics has exceeded
available supply. Once the existing orders are sold out, to
accommodate the open orders, the two companies will be filling
orders with extremely limited line art edition covers of the
collections featuring Jae Lee's stunning art!
"These comics feature some great work by top
tier creators - Mark Millar, Paul Jenkins, Jae Lee, Geoff
Johns, Mark Texeira, David Wohl and upcoming superstar Billy
Tan... Plus we were very lucky enough to have Jae draw these
last two covers before he signed his Marvel exclusive, and
we know retailers and fans will love to see Jae's pure black
and white art!" stated an excited Nick Barrucci, President
of Dynamic Forces. "We had strong sales when we released them
as DF exclusive one-shots a few years ago, but these "two-in-one"
collections are really resonating with the fans and we need
to get more into production to meet the demand."
Top Cow's President Matt Hawkins added: "Top
Cow continues its longstanding relationship with Dynamic Forces
and we appreciate Nick Barrucci and his crew using some of
their inventory to fill our backorders on these two books.
Since these limited books normally retail at a larger dollar
amount, DF is going out of their way to be supportive of our
retailers and fans by shipping these books as reorders for
the regular MSRP of just $2.99."
With the Top Cow run of these books out of
print, DF will be adding to their run to meet the demand.
And for the fans who ordered the DF Limited editions, fans
can now be happy in the knowledge that they will get the limited
edition covers, but with a foil edition for these high end
DF marquee editions! The items are scheduled to ship this
month
