Two New Collectible Pieces Available In Early ’04!

from Dynamic Forces, are two exciting new collectibles featuring
classic Marvel characters.
Mystique,
a former X-Men villain, now starring in her own monthly
Marvel comic – and one of the main villains in the
X-Men Movies - is just one of the new items being offered
this month. Recreated in typical DF fashion as a richly-detailed,
highly-crafted 8” Bust, the shape-shifter also shares
the spotlight this month with a brand-new pairing, in a
growing category for the company.
“We’re
always looking to do and try new things,” said Nick
Barrucci, President of Dynamic Forces. “And I’d
been looking through some of my Spider-Man comics and came
across Amazing [Spider-Man] #312 and was again impressed
by what Todd [McFarlane] had done there. It was, forgive
the pun, truly “dynamic” and I wanted to bring
that cover to life. Looking at the sculpts, I think we did
just that.”
Prepped
for release in early 2004, the cover to Amazing Spider-Man
#312, featuring Spidey vs. Venom, is being released as a
Diorama Statue, similar to DF’s previously released
“Death of Elektra”. The category is one which
DF will be exploring more in the coming year.

Based
on Todd McFarlane’s art from Amazing Spider-Man #
316, which depicted the two mortal enemies locked in deadly
