HSN UPDATE: DYNAMIC FORCES ANNOUNCES GUEST LINE-UP CHANGE

Premiere comics and collectibles company Dynamic Forces returns to HSN this spring as DF President Nick Barrucci hits the air on April 25th with a very special guest! The 11PM EST Hour will not only feature the best and most “dynamic” comic collectibles, but will also feature “jazzy” John Romita! Also, a special preview hour at 2AM EST (that’s 11PM PST on the 24th) with President  Nick Barrucci featuring more “dynamic” comic collectibles, set to whet fans  appetite for the 11PM show.

Legendary Marvel writer, artist, editor, creator Stan Lee was originally scheduled to appear with Romita, however, DF's Nick Barrucci got a call from Stan Lee, as Stan had just come back from the doctors, and mentioned to Nick that when he flew in to appear on the show, he would need to fly in earlier to kick back before the show.  
 
"Stan called and asked if he could fly in early, and have a little extra time to relax before the show,” explained Barrucci.  “I asked why and he mentioned that he had just gotten over the flu, and his doctor thought the recycled air in the plane might aggravate him.  Stan's a trooper, and as much as we would love to have Stan on the show live with John Romita Jr., it's more important that Stan not do anything when he's just getting over the flu.  I hope the fans understand, and we wanted to let them know as soon as we made the decision.  But, not wanting to disappoint anyone, Stan insisted on doing a call-in for the show, and it should be fun, especially with John Romita Sr. still coming live on the air at 11PM EST on Tuesday!"
 
Stan Lee Quote "I don't understand why Nick's so worried, I guess he's just a worry wart, after all, it was only the flu.  I really would have liked to have been on the air with Johnny, it's been so long since I've seen him, and we would have put on a good show for the fans.  I guess it was not meant to be for this show.  I want to thank the fans for their kind words on the message boards.  Stay tuned True Believer, I'll be on the air soon enough!  Excelsior!"

The appearance by Romita helps to celebrate an  anniversary of his own! Romita, who - 40 years ago this year - began his career  defining work on the Amazing Spider-Man with the legendary Amazing Spider-Man  #39 – Spider-Man against the Green Goblin!
