Along with Ross (who has created a nine card subset), artists contributing to the set include: Pat (Transformers) Lee, J. Scott Campbell, the Hildebrandt Brothers, Bill Sienkiewicz, Jae Lee, Jose Villarrubia, Angel Medina, Brian Rood, Alex Horley, Dan Parsons, Mike Allred, John (Captain America) Cassaday, Battle of the Planets Comic artist Wilson Tortosa, Kevin McCarthy, Marc Silvestri, Dan Jurgens, Dan Fraga, Greg Horn, Yanick Paquette, Mike Turner, and many more artistic luminaries and classic images from the original cartoon itself!

Other special additions to this trading card release, include Autograph Cards, Sketch Cards, 6 Animation Cel Cards and rare glimpses at the machinery, design and characters that made Battle of the Planets an international sensation. The base set of consists of 72 cards, with 40 packs per box, and seven cards per pack.

Also available from Dynamic Forces is the BotP Trading Card Binder, which can some without a signed card at the MSRP of $19.99 or will come complete with an exclusive signed card by Alex Ross at the MSRP of $39.99; as well as a BotP 72 card uncut sheet signed by Alex Ross.
