WAITING FOR CHRISTMAS
By Richard Johnston

So what would our favourite Tommy-ed creators wish for Christmas this year that no one else would give them? And what would they buy departing Marvel President Bill Jemas? Clearly I had to find out.

Ultimates, Millarworld, Trouble, Ultimate FF and Spider-Man writer Mark Millar knows that Christmas comes but once a year (empties his sack, cracks nuts, fills stockings etc) and tells us what he really wants but that no one will give him is "Oral satisfaction". Don't worry, I hear Mark Peyton is already on his way up. And on his way down.

SLEEPER: OUT IN THE COLD TPB

And as to what Millar would buy Bill Jemas for Christmas, "Actually, I DID buy Bill a Christmas present. I dazzled everyone at the Marvel summit a couple of weeks back with a fantastic pair of shoes Bill couldn't take his eyes off for some reason. Thus, I ordered them in a size eleven when I got home and Fed Ex-ed them in his general direction. I see this as payback for the heaviest jacket I've ever owned in my life which he bought me a couple of years ago when I showed up in New York with only a T-shirt, a toothbrush and a copy of Planetary to keep me warm."

Losers and Swamp Thing writer Andy Diggle asks for just one thing. "A baby daughter! She was due 8 days ago, but there's still no sign of the little blighter. Clearly she's a chip off the old block - already missing her deadlines... "

And as to what he'd buy Bill Jemas, he links to this Ha ha.

Joe Casey, WildCATS writer isn't giving anything away about what he wants. "I could tell you, Rich, but I've been sworn to secrecy." And as to Bill, "Are you kidding? With the amount of stock he cashed out, he should be buying US something!" Good point, Joe. Bill? I'd like the island of Mauritus if you please.
